    You have received an e-mail requesting you to complete a questionnaire in connection with the update of your client data. This message is an official communication from AKCENTA CZ a.s. and is not intended for marketing or commercial purposes. If you are an Akcenta client, receiving this request is part of a standard and legally required cooperation process.

    The aim of this update is to verify whether the information we have on record is still up-to-date, complete, and correct. Regular data updates are essential to ensure the secure provision of financial services, to protect both clients and the company, and to comply with obligations arising from applicable legislation. In certain cases, without up-to-date data, Akcenta may no longer be able to provide its services in full.

    Why is the data update necessary?

    Akcenta is an "obliged person" under Act No. 253/2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalization of proceeds from crime and the fin

    • ascertain and update beneficial owners, as well as ownership and control structures
    • evaluate the nature and purpose of the business relationship
    • the e-mail will be sent from the address: [email protected]

    Data updates take place periodically or in the event of changes (e.g., a change in ownership structure, business activities, income, or trading behavior).

    Which e-mail address does the questionnaire come from?

    Questionnaires are sent via the secure DigiSign tool, which Akcenta uses for electronic communication with its clients. The e-mail containing the link to the questionnaire is intended exclusively for a specific client:

    • it is not a mass or marketing message
    • it serves exclusively to fulfill legal obligations

    The use of the DigiSign tool ensures the protection of transmitted data, its confidentiality, and secure processing.

    All information provided is processed in accordance with applicable legal regulations, in particular the AML Act and GDPR. The data is used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations and is not provided to third parties beyond the scope of the law, nor is it used for marketing purposes.

    What happens if you do not confirm the questionnaire with the data?

    If Akcenta does not have up-to-date and complete data at its disposal, it may result in the restriction or suspension of services, and an individual solution may be required in accordance with legal requirements. Timely completion of the questionnaire helps to prevent any complications in mutual cooperation.

    • AML (Anti-Money Laundering): A set of legal measures aimed at preventing money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

    • KYC (Know Your Customer): The process of identifying the client and continuously updating their data throughout the duration of the business relationship.

    • Beneficial Owner: A natural person who has ultimate control over a legal entity or who derives a decisive benefit from it.

    • PEP (Politically Exposed Person): A person who currently holds or has held a prominent public function in the past, including persons close to them.

    • Tax Domicile: The state in which a person or company is considered a tax resident.

    • DigiSign: An electronic tool enabling the secure sending, completion, and confirmation of documents online.
