What exactly is Akcenta Key?
Akcenta Key is a mobile app that serves as a security key – it verifies your identity when you log in to online banking and confirms important operations such as payments or setting changes. Unlike traditional SMS or passwords, you can do everything directly on your mobile phone – using a PIN or biometrics (e.g., fingerprint).
Why get the app?
Security first. The app uses two-factor authentication and supports biometric login. Your banking is therefore protected at the highest level.
Convenience without copying. Forget about rewriting codes. Confirming a transaction is just a click away.
Speed you'll love. Notifications on your mobile phone, confirmation with a PIN or fingerprint, and you're done. The whole process takes just a few seconds.
Dark or light mode? You can customize the app. You can also change the language (e.g. Czech, English, Polish...) and color scheme.
How to start using Akcenta Key?
- Download the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Choose your own PIN – or enable biometric login if your phone supports it.
- Pair the app with your online banking account using a QR code (found in OLB in the Settings > Two-factor authentication section).
That's it! From now on, you can confirm transactions securely directly in the app. Do you have multiple accounts? You can easily add them to the app.
When do you use the app?
With Akcenta Key, you can confirm the following situations, for example:
- logging into online banking
- entering or editing a payment
- changing your password
- activating the Web API
- displaying the communication password
As soon as you start one of these actions, you will receive a notification. Open it, confirm it and you're done.
